What exactly is Tratics?

Tratics is a freight rail rate management and analysis platform. It’s easy to set up and easy to use. Customers love it because it lets them compare their rates to the market, compare against their direct competitors, as well as manage their rail rates and contracts, all in one place.

Customers can see all of their negotiated rates, tariff rates, quotes, and contracts all in one place instead of going to a number of different carrier websites. This allows for easy rail rate comparison between carriers, as well as rate changes of any one carrier over time. Our rate analysis approach gives you an unmatched overview of the market rates and helps you set targets for your freight sourcing team.

 

How long does it take to implement Tratics?

Initial setup can be completed within a day.

 

Do you provide your own rates, or negotiate rates with carriers?

We do not negotiate any rates with the carriers. We act exclusively as a platform for you to manage and analyze your rates that you already have in place with your carriers.

 

Will you share my rates with anyone? Is my info secure?

We are a completely neutral platform, and under no circumstances will we share your information or pricing with any other party. We strive to empower the shipper to negotiate the best possible rail transportation rates.

 

Do you support international shipments?

The Tratics platform currently works for rail carload shipments within the North American market (US, Canada, Mexico).

 

How many users can I add?

There is no limit to the number of users you can add to your Tratics account.

 

Do I have to sign anything to start my free trial?

No, there’s no contract and we don’t need your credit card information when you sign up for your free trial. We give you 7 days free, and after that you can send us your payment information. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Fees already paid to Tratics are non-refundable.
